It was this Friday, exactly a year ago, when Maou premiered on TBS. Ohno's immense acting talent was finally showcased for everyone to see, feel and experience.
I don't know why I suddenly remembered it today. I guess it was because I just watched the VS Arashi episode with Toma as their guest. I love the friendship that blossomed between Rida and Toma. It's like a sibling relationship with Ohno as the big brother and his adorable little brother.
What struck me the most during this episode was when Ohno did something with his hands during the Falling Pipe segment, Toma's eyes lit up! It was immediately followed with a bright smile! You can definitely notice how Toma adores Rida. I was so touched that I felt like crying tears of joy. The way Toma dotes on Oh-chan melts my heart.
INXS: Did you catch a glimpse of the way Toma inched closer to Nino to show him the commemorative picture of his participation in the show? Isn't that the sweetest?
Words fail me right now.
I was going to put this in my personal blog but decided otherwise. I grew up listening to his music. I remember my parents getting home one day with a bootleg copy of the Thriller PV because one just can't download music clips since the internet was non-existent back then. My blog up until now contain entries about him and his music. Going to work and going back home was always complete with me listening to "Rock With You" in my iPod. My family and closest friends knew that it was my national anthem.
And the only memory I have of him in my vox were these two songs that I absolutely love. These were posted two years ago since both perked me
up during a moment when I was so down and out.
After watching Episode 9 last weekend, I can't wait to watch the final one after reading a lot of good reviews on both Sho and Yoko's acting.
As much as I like twists which blend well in this kind of genre, I hope there will be resolutions at the end for the simple reason that I want to see MC Kamiyama smile again. ♥
INXS: I am loving the PV preview of "Everything" too much! Thanks to everyone in my neighborhood who have shared it. :)
Such a lonely sight...
He finally hugged her on his own volition! ♥
Watching Smile invokes trepidation. It's like I have to mentally
prepare myself beforehand for the sufferings that Bito will experience. But this
drama is very cathartic for me. It makes me grateful for all the
people in my life -- past and present. There's this healing or
therapeutic feeling because I know that no matter what happens in the
future, my family and friends will be encouraging me to keep the faith
that life will always be better. :)
I suddenly had the urge to cap MC Kamiyama's stare. There's pure and unadulterated fury in his eyes which goes right through your soul. And I bet many would want to have that one chance or should I say "dream chance" to stare into those black pools forever.
After having dinner and coffee with friends later tonight, I have set out to watch episode 9 of The Quiz Show. :)
Furthermore, whenever I hear reporters or fellow actors call you Mr. Hollywood Star, one look at your face tells a different story. Because no matter how much you have achieved in the industry, you still remain unaffected and grounded. But the irony of it all is...you think you're popular. Thanks to the fortune teller who guested on Shukudai-kun, we now know what you really think in that complicated brain of yours. Haha!
In spite of this, we know the truth otherwise. You have stayed modest, unassuming and down-to-earth all throughout these years. And none of us can ever compare to the love you have for Arashi. There are only four other guys by the names of Aiba Masaki, Matsumoto Jun, Ohno Satoshi and Sakurai Sho who can compete with you in loving Arashi the most.
Happy Birthday! :)
Of course, this concerns Arashi. XD
Two of my colleagues, Sabel and Mark, went to the yearly ToyCon last weekend. Lo and behold, they found something that concerns me. They told me what they spotted the moment we had a chance to talk today. There was this booth right smack in the center of the whole exhibition and it was selling Japanese stuff. Both told me that the Arashi merchandise -- CDs, DVDs, Magazines -- were selling like hotcakes! Sabel wanted to check out specifically what they were selling so that she can text me what I can possibly buy. But so many girls were lined up against the booth. Thus, she couldn't get near and can only see Arashi items from afar. Sabel even saw the An-An Pi cover and was she surprised abou the naked photoshoot.
Here's the clincher: Mark told me that she saw a girl with Arashi uchiwas and he remembered that some of those which she had were like mine. And he also witnessed that this girl took pictures of the uchiwas, I guess, after she bought them. All I can say is, thank God for supportive friends who understand my love for Arashi! :)
...kyaaa!
My brother was at the mall buying things needed for his trip. But something made him stop at his tracks. Upon reaching home, he entered my room and immediately asked me, "What is this song by Arashi?" Then, he started humming the melody and I couldn't get it. Haha! I was like "Eh? One more time. And why are you making me guess it?" He said he heard it at the mall and remembered that it was, "You know...the music video with puppets." Aha! "Wish" is the magical song that I was trying to guess!
I'm touched that my brother remembers the song and the PV. I might drop by that mall tomorrow to personally check it out. Arashi being played locally is something I need to hear for myself. :)
For those like me who are holding office jobs, we should have a colleague like Rida. With his adorable facial mannerisms, he brightens up a drab and dreary day at work.
INXS: Last Thursday's Himitsu no Arashi-chan made me wonder why was Ohno the only one who didn't have his birthday as his uniform number. And the way he said Justin Timberlake and Linkin Park was so squishly cute!
During the VS Arashi episode with Harisenbon, Nino being shy all over the place is something that I look forward to in all of their shows. Jun being a Do-S and Aiba's hair and hips always do the damage to their willing guests. Even Sho was devastatingly handsome when it was his turn at the Falling Pipe segment. But it was Rida and his 'hai' and 'maa' that got to me! He was intently staring at Haruka then, out of the blue, walked around in circles as if he was in his very own little world. I just love the man! ♥
Just saw this VS episode and it's definitely one of my favorites. I love how all six of them are... read more
