mutual admiration society
It seems like Arashi and even Ogu-san are fond of Daigo the same way that Daigo likes Arashi especially Aiba-chan. Ogu-san, on the other hand, I felt was more interested in Daigo being the grandson of a former Japanese prime minister and what went on during his grandfather's term as PM. I find Daigo's deadpan sense of humor very funny and the way he talks, it just calms. The hair and the gloves -- yes, Daigo -- you and Aiba belong to only one of the twenty categories that human beings are divided into. Haha!
Thanks to all those who have posted screencaps and commentaries on this Shukudai episode because to say that it was amusing is an understatement. It totally rocked because the seven boys all had fun! Don't get tired of me but here are again the note-worthy things that caught my eye:
- Daigo giving the dipping fondue fork foremost to Aiba during the first entree that was served.
- Nino getting a second serving, which doesn't happen often since Nino has an aversion to eating. He must really like fondues a lot!
- Ohno shocked at Jun's umai expressions. He was literally and physically blown away!
- Don't mind me but I love "Baby Love" and "Knock Three Times" as background songs during the food segment.
- During Aiba-lando, Aiba called Jun, Matsumoto-kun, when his name was picked out of the box. But when it came to Rida, Aiba called him Oh-chan. I found that so sweet!
- Sho cutely saying "yadda, yadda, yadda!"
- Sho and Nino rolling their tongues in this episode. They kept on rolling, rolling and rolling!
- I just love Sho's jacket! ♥
These are moments that are worthy to be made into animated gifs. Man, how did I become OC even with the exact minutes and seconds? Haha! If only I can make them now, I'd gladly do it. Nevertheless, check out:

I don't remember ever being so glad about staying up to watch shukudai-kun live. nor do i remember seeing everyone--arashi, ogu-san, and the guest--being as happy as they were in the latest ep of shukudai. seriously, arashi x daigo corabo onegaishimasu!
If you ask me, the entire ep should be gif-ed. that's how good it was. XD
By the way, "Baby Love" was song by the Supremes. I can't remember who sang "Knock Three Times".
Is that the chocolate fondue with Nino's picture beside it? Your picture of it really looks yummy! I would love to know the recipe.
I think I need to watch this episode again because I only watched this once last night. And Sho's jacket just conveyed how hot he is in it and in black! ^_^
If we can have tag teams among fangirls, gif-ing this episode can be done in a short time. Plus, it will be the first time ever that an entre show was gif-ed!
I second the motion! I want an Arashi and Daigo collaboration. And Arashi will all wear gloves and say "Wish, Kyu-Kyu" with matching hand movements! Haha! XD
unfortunately, i can't. i have a high schooler (can you believe!) to tutor, and probably won't be free til at least an hour into the show. which reminds me, i need to start burning and free up space for the download... ><
