After watching the first episode of "My Girl", it made me remember my dad and what Aiba said about having daughters. Aiba now understands the power that daughters have over their fathers. With just one look, fathers simply can't say no to whatever their daughters yearn for.
That's our charm as daughters. :)
Sometimes crying helps to relieve the negative emotions we all feel. Since I don't cry as much in real life, this proved to be a cathartic incident for me. Because it was an emotional cleansing experience following the ups-and-downs of the relationship between Masamune-kun and Koharu-chan.
"My Girl" made me feel so much better. :)
...for Aiba and Momoka-chan! I do, I do! ♥♥♥
I know that this image has been used countless of times but this represents, literally and figuratively, the tie that binds father and daughter together. Thanks so much to chaix2-san for the Navi clip because it made me fall in love even more with the Masamune-kun and Koharu-chan tandem. I've been teary-eyed on the verge of bawling out brought about by numerous scenes in the drama, which has touched me to the core.
The way Aiba dotes on Momoka-chan, constantly asking her if she's fine and always on the lookout for her every move. And when Momoka-chan looks at Aiba, her eyes are shining with pure love! Plus, they continuously hold hands on the set, keeping each other close. My heart is going to explode from too much cuteness!
Aiba's right. I never actually thought about having children but if you were to ask me before, I have consistently wanted to have boys because I don't have to fuss over them. But this time just like what Aiba said, I want to have a daughter like Momoka-chan!
When Aiba uttered "you're someone I will never forget"...it made me hurt so much deep inside. But this drama is something that I am looking forward to no matter what the outcome will be. I can't wait for October 9 to come!
Thanks to chaix2-san for the cm. :)
INXS: Yes, I succumbed too. I ordered the 5x10 All the Best! Clips 1999-2009 DVD.
...is not enough for Arashi. XD
I just had to insert 'twenty-four' because I've been engrossed in Aiba and Ohno's 24 Hour TV tasks for the past two nights. I've actually watched Aiba's 2008 mission last year and a few years back for Ohno's 2004 assignment. But paying close attention this time made me overwhelmingly touched by the dedication that they have put into making the dreams of the people they've helped come true.
It all started last weekend when I was casually surfing youtube and came across some clips of this event. Way before I knew it, I was hooked! Aiba and the little boy who dreams of swimming with dolphins started it off. He was very protective of the little boy who, in turn, revealed that he depended his life on our Miracle Boy. Aiba's nurturing personality shone and the trust clearly given to him only proves how kind, genuine and sincere he is.
But I was affected the most with Rida and the compassion he has shown. Seriously, his compassion resonates. He doesn't need to do anything and yet, his point came across clearly. Moreover, I don't usually cry but I was close to bawling out upon seeing Ohno's inability to speak because he was overcome with emotion. All he could do was give an okay sign to the deaf students whom he taught the steps for "Kimi no Tameni Boku Ga Iru" after they successfully danced to the song during the 24 Hour TV live marathon. With Ohno, I always turn into a puddle of goo (in a very, very good way).
I am truly grateful to be in this fandom. :)
INXS: Gunning for more records to break...Arashi, congratulations!
...on a cloudy day.
It just really made me want to sing "My Girl" at the top of my lungs today when I heard the amazing news! It has been literally raining this weekend up until this morning and reading all about Aiba's drama made everything suddenly so sparkly. It's like the sun figuratively shined, too. This week is going to be all about rainbows and tons of happy thoughts!
I actually even checked out the official website which I rarely do when I first hear of any drama news. Aiba as a dad? What more can we ask for? His nurturing personality will definitely come out and seeing him onscreen with that character will make us all spazz uncontrollably. I am totally hooked on this drama and downloading seemed much more fun. Haha! XD

On impulse, I have been posting an image of each Arashi member and something special about them that simply made my week brighter.
Just like my previous entry about Nino, Aiba's smile lights up any room or in this case, Pankun's forest. Whenever his segment is aired on Tensai, you could feel an overwhelming glow coming from the other mainstays of the show like Shimura-san, Aoki-san, Becky, Mami-san and even Toshi & Taka. They genuinely adore Mr. Masaki. With Arashi, the word "adore" becomes an overused term. Most of us, I'm sure, can't get enough of their adorableness. Credits to LoD.
INXS: It was nice to hear Michael Jackson songs being played in the background of most Arashi shows like "Man in the Mirror" on Shukudai-kun last Monday.
Aiba has definitely started the year with a bang. And he best illustrates this with one big thumbs up!
Sweet, funny, sexy, adorable and feeling hazukashii because of his booboo -- everything rolled into one!
Sho, Sho, Sho. I could never get enough of you and your to-die-for expressions!
