Just got online tonight and first thing I did was to watch Hanamaru Cafe which I downloaded yesterday. Ohno is such a loving son and when he tried not to cry when he recounted how his parents are absolutely happy and proud of him made me teary-eyed. You make everyone proud with your achievements, Rida! :)
Okay, I admit that something caught my eye during this episode and all I could think of was...is this hot or what?! *cheeks burning*
Loved the arch of Sho's eyebrows. And how could I not notice the rippling of his muscles? *fans self, hides and dies*
INXS: Started downloading Maou Episode 1. It's been a long
time since I last downloaded a dorama. Please, please Torrent! Make
downloading the episode faster! Onegaishimasu! Can't wait to watch
Ohno and Toma in the battle of two immensely talented actors of their generation. Another actor included in that list is of course, Nino, whose cameo is something I am anticipating for so long since I miss seeing him act for a year.
I was even wearing a red shirt yesterday. It was actually bright red and I think the waiting for Maou channeled into my being unconsciously. ^_^
INXS 2: Gwen! I missed you too terribly! Please wait for my PM. I have so much to share about RL too! XD
I'm finally online after 3 days. XD
Last Friday night, I had coffee and dessert with my old college friends. I told myself that I'll be online once I reach home to download the MS "One Love" performance or even just to watch a streaming clip of it. But I was too tired and slept the moment I got home. I was telling myself that I can get to watch it the next day, which was a Saturday and lots of time for myself since it's the weekend.
Saturday arrived and Typhoon Fengshen or Frank also came our way. Vicious winds and torrents of rain poured all over the country. Manila was under Storm Signal Number 3 but thank God that we still had electricity and water.
Because of the typhoon, we didn't have internet connection. Thus, I haven't seen the MS clip at all yet nor have I saved the countless and gorgeous magazine scans of the Stormy boys. There are so many Arashi activities and for one to be gone simply for a day, there's so much to catch up on. I'm not complaining though. But I am overwhelmed to say the least...overwhelmed in a good way.
Lastly, I'm just glad and thankful that my family's safe, my friends and everyone close to me are okay. I hope that everyone who has been affected by the typhoon will once again be up on their feet. Ganbatte to them! :)
INXS: Aiba hitting Nino in Ousama No Brunch is a classic! Can't wait to watch this clip! Seriously, Aiba should do this to Nino more after all the teasing he has gotten. I am with you Aiba on this one. Haha! ^_^
INXS 2: Thanks Iara dear for the concern! And Happy-chan, thanks for your PMs. Promise I'll answer them either today or tomorrow. *hugssss everyone*
Arashi snippets from my officemates. XD
Around two weeks ago, we were having lunch and I accidentally bit my tongue that led me to a coughing spree. There's a saying here wherein once you've bitten your tongue, somebody remembered you. So, you have to ask the person nearest you a number and that would represent the letter of the person's first name who thought of you. Thus, I asked a guy officemate of mine (let's call him Dennison) for a number and he said one which equals the letter "A" for your boys, you know, Arashi! Then, he laughs. He remembers the Stormy Boys! I'm touched that a guy who doesn't have a clue about Arashi still remembers their name. I guess because he always sees Arashi on my PC. Bwahaha!
After lunch, we were walking in the mall when we passed by a Japan Home Centre store. Another guy officemate, Rio, told me that he always thinks of me whenever he goes to this store since I represent anything Japanese to him. ^_^
Lastly, Mel-chan went to an Anime convention last weekend and she saw a stall that was selling different kinds of Japanese stuff. She came across a magazine with Arashi on the cover. Mel was so excited to buy the mag but before she could grab hold of that mag, there was a horde of shrieking girls behind her. Literally, she was pushed aside, why you may ask? Because the girls immediately pounded and grabbed the magazine with Arashi on it! They were kyaaaa-ing all the time. Hahaha!
But most importantly, I know that most of us have expressed our sentiments about what happened to Sho-kun. And I am one with all of you in praying for Sho's immediate recovery. With Sho's triumphant spirit, for sure and without a doubt, he'll be healed and up in no time! I loved how the five of them were trying to make light of the situation by joking around with each other but at the same time, comforting Sho and being there for him physically and emotionally. That's really what friends are for.
It made me remember a VS Arashi episode where Aiba fell after catching all the balls in one segment. The moment he fell, the four other guys came running to his rescue and asking him if he was okay. No questions asked. They're just there for each other just like what Nino said in the MISS interview. When it's crunch time, it's Arashi that you can depend on. Makes me love and respect Arashi more as a group and as individuals. When I thought I couldn't love them more, I do, actually. It's boundless love for me. :)
I've been feeling under the weather because I got drenched from too much rain even though it's summer. I'm extremely bummed out (fever and all) and I just want to go home and sleep all day. But got too much to do in the office. Nevertheless, three thoughts have perked me up somehow.
I couldn't sleep last night after watching VS Arashi so I decided to watch some cable shows. I was pleasantly surprised to see Arashi on NHK's J-Melo. People requested for "Step and Go" and it was surreal to see them on local TV! No matter how many times I've watched the PV, I still smile like silly seeing them. Plus, there was a description of who Arashi was and that included their single activities such as acting, newscasting and painting. That made my night. Their different fields are now acknowledged and the diversity of work for a so-called boyband is such a welcome thing in the entertainment industry.
This may be trivial to a lot of people but there's a Momo beach in our country! Haha! It's found in Bohol, which is known for its pristine white beaches. Maybe one of these days, weeks or months, I can get to visit it with my friends in tow. :)
Lastly, Jun's message to all those who went to the USC screening was so heartwarming that unconsciously I was saying awww out loud the whole time. He is such an amazing human being to recognize and personally thank the importance of fans who have continually supported him and Arashi throughout these years.
I need sunshine to make me feel better! Arashi already did their part and I'm happy. ^_^
I can't help but reminisce about the Golden Age of the juniors when I read the latest Takkiren. It's filled with good memories from years back. And it's cute how Arashi went inside Takki's dressing room in an orderly fashion. Just pure cuteness! Takki will always be their junior leader. Awww...*sighs*
Enjoy reading!

Iya~ Enbujou came to an end and I took a deep breath. Reverberations still remain, but now there’s Takitsuba’s new single!! 「Koi uta」
Feels good
I’ll be working on promotions for the release soon
Now I’m in the dressing room for Ogosho recording, and Arashi members came to visit me one after another. Furthermore, each one came in orderly

I could see everyone after a long time
Enbujou ended, I went to Guam, got tanned, and my skin has peeled off. Aiba-chan looked at my tanned body and said in a word.
(The sun) licked you
This was said by funny Aiba-chan with his subtle expression
And Oh-chan was.
silently peeling my skin
Can I just spell A-D-O-R-A-B-L-E? *points at Rida and Aiba*
Thanks so much to http://takki.us and qwe for translating the
latest Takizawa Rengou. Thanks a lot Mich for allowing me to repost
it on my vox. I truly appreciate it. :)
Now, I'm off to read the Con reports. See you all later! ^_^
I only got to watch the latest Shukudai episode last night and when I logged on this morning, it's heartwarming to know that many have noticed the subtle rabu-rabu moments among members like the one that Ohmiya showed last Monday.
Plus, I haven't capped in a while so sharing these precious little rabu-rabu discoveries is such a fun thing to do.
1. We all loved it when Nino opened the sketch pad for Rida in such a doting manner.
2. When the guest uttered a wonderful comment and Sho said "ume" then, grunted...aaah, you know what I mean. ^_^
3. What I love about Sho is how he laughs because of his baka ways, his hilarious shrieks when he finds his drawings funny. I could really go on and on about why I love this scene.
4. When Sho vehemently opposes the guest's drawing that it doesn't look like a praying mantis (or was it a grasshopper?), I loved the manly way he goes about it. And he doesn't care that the guest is a lady. Way to go! Fight for what you believe in, Sho! XD
5. Aiba's hop, skip and jump moment made me want to hop, skip and jump with him too! Haha! If ever I have kids in the future, I want them to have Aiba's disposition in life. If we all have Aiba's enthusiasm, there will be world peace!
6. When Aiba pointed something about the hippo with his knowing look on his face, I died! Then, he smiled. I died some more!
7. Jun, can you listen to my heart too? Haha! I know the heart is on the left side but he just looked too cute!
8. Ohno, ohno! You give the most surprised or dead-pan reactions and I love you greatly for it! When he gave this fleeting glance to the guest, it read of one thing...only one thing. Oh, no! This girl has no rhythm! Love it, Rida!
9. Why do I find this pose incredibly sexy?
10. Again, why do I find this pose incredibly sexy too? Nino curling, shaking and shriveling like a snake just justifies why I love him so!
Just got to get it out of my system. This week's episode of Himitsu no Arashi-chan rocked big time!!!
Aiba + Lil Tots = KAWAII LOVE x Sho's deadpan expression and making beautiful eyes = MAKSHIMUM LOVE
I was most impressed with Sho's segment. The interpreter wowed me! I am still in awe of her greatness! When she shouted "aarrrggggh" when interpreting Jun's part in HYD 2, I want to be her best friend. Haha! I seriously want her job. If only I get to do what she gets to do everyday...man, it's my dream job!
Happy-chan, I'm reminded of you when I saw Sho's segment! What you're doing right now is amazing! Keep it up! *hugs*
Plus, I loved Sho's reaction when the interpreter wasn't able to shake his hands (some sort of confusion materialized) and I further loved it when the other 4 guys patched everything together and the interpreter explained her side. So so so cute! And did you notice Nino's sort of shocked reaction when the first shaking of hands didn't occur? Priceless! XD
It's finally Sho's time to shine! ^_^
Okaeri, Zhe! *hugs*
XDDDD
INXS: Happy Labor Day! No work today. Yey!
INXS 2: Laine buzzed me on YM and told me that the pictures of her Japan trip were already up in her Multiply blog. And she took pics of these guys, her other presents for me. Haha!
Two of my friends went to Japan last week. Zhe is still in Japan while Laine arrived last Monday. First off, thanks thanks Zhe for the Arashi goodies! Thanks too for the text messages and emails that you sent us. Can't wait to hear your stories when you get back next week especially your Chiba adventure! *hugs*
To celebrate Laine's return, we had dinner last Tuesday and the stories about her Japan experience are funny and refreshing that I had to post some of them here since it involves a group known by the name of Arashi. XD
My friends and I would have dinner normally once a week and we would always talk about our Japanese boys, Japanese doramas, anything Japanese. Laine at that time hadn't watched any dorama (but she finally started last year) and was totally clueless about who we were talking about. But being a good friend that she is, Laine would listen to us and ask questions now and then and we would show her pictures about them.
Back to her Japan trip, Laine was going around Asakusa when she came across a street filled with souvenir shops. She entered one shop randomly and was surprised to see that it was different compared to the other stores because it was filled with JE boys! Haha! The moment that she stepped in, Nino's picture caught her eye and said out loud, "It's Nino of Arashi!" Love her!
Laine quickly went to have a closer look but the name written was Ninomiya instead of Nino so she sort of panicked. LOL! But she saw that there was Arashi written on it and the shop was filled with so much Arashi stuff. Again, to make sure, she asked their tour guide if it was indeed Nino of Arashi by pointing at the picture. The tour guide said yes and was impressed that she knew who Nino is. Me and my friends were now teasing Laine that she's so sugoi for knowing Nino! :p
Then, Laine proceeded to ask about Takki. The tour guide didn't quite get what she said so she thought she pronounced wrongly. She said Takizawa Hideaki promptly and the tour guide was more shocked than ever because she knew Takki's complete name! Laine then proceeded to ask the tour guide about Fujiki Naohito. Suge, Laine! You learned a lot from us! Hahaha!
We were laughing at Laine's other story about seeing lots and lots of magazines with "Matsumoto Jun" on the cover. Here's what she said in Tagalog. "Grabe, sikat si Matsumoto! Panay sya ang cover ng mga magazines na nakita ko. Si Matsumoto-san and si Shun ang nakikita ko." It goes something like this in English, "Matsumoto is really popular! I keep on seeing Matsumoto-san and Shun on the cover of magazines." She really calls Jun, Matsumoto or Matsumoto-san! Bwahaha!
Here's what she gave me. Though it's not official, it's kinda expensive and the quality's good. :)
Laine, you'll get to read this post soon and I just want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for being a very very good friend all these years. I'm really touched that you know who Arashi and Nino are and how you got excited seeing Nino stuff and buying it for me. I am way beyond grateful. :)
Okay, I'm at work but my mind's blank. Zilch. Why you may ask? Because the Time Con DVD is on my mind! Wanna go back home, lounge comfortably on my bed and watch it nonstop. I wasn't able to properly watch the DVD last night since I started around 11 pm. I arrived at home past 9 pm and immediately RAN towards my room at lightning speed. Believe me when I tell you that I don't run. I even don't like walking! This is what Arashi does to me. Haha! My dad even commented that I arrived early considering that by other people's standards, it's already late. The perils of work. Only Arashi can make me go home early.
My hands were shaking because I didn't want to ruin the pamphlet (folded accordion-style) and I didn't want to scratch the 2 DVDs. While I'm doing this, my dad's looking and laughing at me. I just had to laugh along with him because I looked hilarious. I was close to actually wearing gloves for this task. Kidding! Bwahaha!
I don't know if these are really spoilers but it's up to you if you want to read it. So far, what I've noticed were the following as I was scanning the DVD:
1. The DVD quality is different in the sense like you can grab Arashi if you reach your hand and put it inside the screen. It looked like you were watching it in real-time. Hmmm, how I wish I could describe it in detail. But you can see it especially during the Fight Song numbers. It felt so real. If you thought that the AAA + in Dome DVD was so clear, think again.
2. They didn't focus on Sho's hips in "Can't Let Go" seriously! Hahaha! Because I remember reading posts from way back from people who have seen Sho live (and I have seen the fancams too) and THE hips were grinding! This is one number that I had to rewind lots of times! ^_^
3. Aiba is unbelievably genki!!! He can light up the Tokyo Dome and all the other domes combined all by himself. And man, he runs fast. Really fast!
4. Rida running after Nino is LOVE. His peaceful demeanor amidst screaming fans is undeniably admirable! Plus, to copy what the fangirls are doing like fixing their hair etc. is again, love.
5. Lots and lots of Jun. Yeah, lots and lots of smiling Jun that makes you go awwww. His Yabai-Yabai-Yabai is amazing. He really perfected it.
6. Aaahhh, Nino and Niji. Aaaahhhh...to say that he sang it heartfelt would be an understatement. When you see his head throbbing back in utter surrender to the song and sweat dripping down his face and neck, you just have to believe that Ninomiya Kazunari is everything that is good in this world. That's no exaggeration. XD
Glad to get that out of my chest and share why Arashi is worth it. Simply. Absolutely. Now, back to work. :)
INXS: They made everyone do 2 giant waves inside the Dome - one slow and one that involves jumping, I think, thanks to Aiba's suggestion. Loved it!
