It's just wonderful to watch the recent interactions between Sho and Jun. It was apparent on Himitsu no Arashi-chan for the past three episodes. Whenever Sho would do something adorkably funny during the VIP Room segment, always expect Jun to be the first one to approach Sho, hit him on the shoulder and laugh out loudly. That is tough love, people. Haha! XD
Also during the Mannequin Five corner when the four members of Speed were the guests, Jun was trying to contain his laughter when Sho got chosen, jumped off the stairs because of euphoria and sort of hurt his ankle. But we all know Jun found that action uberly cute. Even last Monday's Shukudai-kun made me smile when Jun personally retouched Sho's face for his mummy punishment.
I'd like to request if someone can share a Jun and Sho chibi picture for this entry. But in the meantime, this will do.
INXS: Turned a year older. I wonder what life will bring this year. :)I was rewatching a show hosted by Shounentai wherein Arashi chose Ohno as their leader. It just hit me that at the end of this program, Nino mentioned that he liked a song by Nuno Bettencourt. I love that man! He was part of the band Extreme and their song "More than Words" was a national anthem for lovestruck people back then. But he's better known in the underground circuit as a kick-ass guitarist. And if I may add, I do also like his silky black hair. XD
INXS 1: Nino, I love the Smurfs, too! Haha! And it's funny in a way because Nino, technically, loves little things. For example, he loves Smurfs which are tiny. He admires Nuno and Nuno sa punso in Tagalog when translated means a dwarf-like creature in Philippine mythology. The coincidences keep popping up.
INXS 2: Arashi, it should be us thanking all of you for making our lives one hell of a roller coaster ride. :)

This was from the Himitsu no Arashi-chan episode two Thursdays ago. Ohno personified the definition of "Don't sweat the small stuff" with his comment that "It's the ocean after all". His beach outfit was the perfect analogy on how he views life and everything else in between.
No frills. Simple and straightforward. That's his philosophy. It's life as Rida sees it. Once again, I just love the man. :)
Credits to chaix2-san.
For those like me who are holding office jobs, we should have a colleague like Rida. With his adorable facial mannerisms, he brightens up a drab and dreary day at work.
INXS: Last Thursday's Himitsu no Arashi-chan made me wonder why was Ohno the only one who didn't have his birthday as his uniform number. And the way he said Justin Timberlake and Linkin Park was so squishly cute!
During the VS Arashi episode with Harisenbon, Nino being shy all over the place is something that I look forward to in all of their shows. Jun being a Do-S and Aiba's hair and hips always do the damage to their willing guests. Even Sho was devastatingly handsome when it was his turn at the Falling Pipe segment. But it was Rida and his 'hai' and 'maa' that got to me! He was intently staring at Haruka then, out of the blue, walked around in circles as if he was in his very own little world. I just love the man! ♥
Another thing that made me this memorable was this shot because Jun's eyes were shining against the glaring sun. It was so beautiful how his orbs sparkled.
INXS: More to look forward to such as, Nino's butai and Arashi as gorgeous hosts in black in next week's revamped Himitsu no Arashi-chan. These are again milestones in their illustrious careers as a group and as individuals. :)
...by this man.
INXS: Here's my tiny request. More Arashi beatboxing in future Himitsu episodes!
- How I wish I could cap the shot in last Thursday's episode when Ohno looked straight at the camera at the very end in his Mona Lisa shirt. *dies*
- Sho rocking to the beat with utter concentration while looking at the laptop - a sexy combination.
- Jun was truly happy with the final product and you could see his wide smile while watching the beatbox video. I want Jun to be always that happy.
- Aiba's sneezing idea was so Aiba and yes, so very effective! And he really is one fashionable man in his red sweater and cargo pants. Did I mention his gorgeous bed of hair?
- As cheesy as this may sound but Nino's new hairstyle is the bomb! Haha! His outfit is hip hop, too. Nino is one big prankster. Teasing Kato Rosa that she'll be the one to do the beatboxing with matching ganbatte is such old school Nino.
Does anyone know the original artist of this song in the clip? This was when Ooshima-san serenaded Jun on Himitsu no Arashi during the PR for the Hana Yori Dango Final movie.
INXS: Shukudai-kun totally owned my whole being this week. Simply because Arashi looked heartbreakingly beautiful. ♥
Snippets as to why my heart went berserk again:
- When Aiba rumples his hair, I go crazy. Haha! That little act really equates to gorgeousness.
- Nino's hair is teh hotness! Moreover, when he calls Kyoko Hamaguchi only as Kyoko without the san and her father merely as Animal without a hint of fear, I give props to you Neener!
- Sho's tucked hair behind his right ear...c'mon! No words, people!
- The Jun and Satoshi moment of hugging each other for comfort during the Aibaland Game when Rida was nearly trampled upon by Kyoko. Plus, the peeking moment at the start of the show is love.
I love Ohno's solo PV preview and his black ensemble! His steps are so
fluid -- a born dancer, indeed! If JE and J-Storm plan to actually
release a solo song and PV for each of the members soon, I'm glad that
it was Ohno first. He has definitely paid his dues. And as the quiet
and charismatic leader of Arashi, I'm sure the four other members can't
help but be proud and ecstatic over this latest feather in his cap. :)
Happy weekend, everyone!
I've been out and about this week, going to different places and generally, having a lot fun celebrating the Christmas season. So, real life has been one big happy bowl of wonderful thoughts. Thus, resting this weekend and downloading Arashi shows at a record pace has been both exciting and tiring. Now, here's what I've missed but finally have caught up with.
Himitsu no Arashi:
- The band-aid on Sho-kun's neck was both funny and very adorable.
- Aiba removing his beanie to formally say thank you to the fishermen for helping him and Ohno catch fish was such a polite gesture. Shaking hands, too, was a sign that he has truly become a man.
- Hearing Tomadoinagara on an Arashi TV show has always been a dream mine. Just one word, yes!
- A little bit late but can I just say that I've noticed that the soles of their sneakers are red. Kawaii!
- The grayish-silvery outfits were stylish and I love how crisp their white long sleeves were especially the one that Sho wore.
- Sho making his eyes bigger and bigger and Nino pointing to the aerial cam...cuteness overload!
- Jun saying "oseyo" after his cliff climb. Domyouji, bring it on!
- Nino somewhat rubbing Ohno's tummy and later on, shaking his hand. They really can't physically not be together.
- The Nino-Aiba moment in the shower.
- Jun and Nino pwned me in the Rolling Coin Tower segment. Their stares were to-die for.
- Sho looked hot when he let the Guest Team win. Why can you still be that hot after losing? *wonders out loud*
- Aiba comforting Sho during the presentation of the gifts.
- Seeing my fave Japanese gymnast in the CM for the SP. Why did I forget his name now?
Ryuusei no Kizuna Episode 9:
Before I immerse myself in episode 10, let me flail first over episode 9. Manly boy rolled into one.
Another facet. The Thinking Boy.
Bond. James Bond. Oops. Ariake. Ariake Koichi desu.
The profile just kills.
Trying his darndest best not to cry. I bet, most of us, cried along with him.
He can be a cuddly little boy...
But turns into one mad man. Or we could interpret this as a start of a budding romance...the more you hate, the more you love. Koichi x Sagi. ♥
He could actually be funny too. Sagi, just give him some more time.
Let's all have a magnificent week! :)
